What is Liminal Reflections?
I'm Liminal Warmth, your resident professional dilettante. Liminal Reflections is a blog where I write articles on various topics of cultural relevance and provide updates on my many ongoing projects and interest areas. Some of my favorite areas of discussion include writing, self-improvement, metaphysics, social issues, business, and technology.
My core values are loving kindness, autonomy, self-reliance, and curiosity, and I try to listen to everyone and treat people fairly and charitably regardless of their background. The writing on this blog is intended to be for anyone who might find value out of it, and as such, I provide it openly and freely (no paywalls).
About Lim (Liminal Warmth)
liminal | adjective
1: of, relating to, or situated at a sensory threshold : barely perceptible or capable of eliciting a response
2: of, relating to, or being an intermediate state, phase, or condition : IN-BETWEEN, TRANSITIONAL
In 2019 I started tweeting under the pseudo-anonymous handle @liminal_warmth, which I chose because I wanted to convey warmth and kindness while discussing topics on the periphery of most people's awareness.
I think of myself first as a writer and author, although I have a pretty wide-ranging set of skills. My articles are written in a casual, jokey, and often self-effacing style because I think it's fun. In addition to my writing, I spent a long time working in the tech sector and also do consulting, career coaching, indie game development, and research into metaphysics. When I'm not working, I spend most of my time traveling around the West Coast in an RV, visiting friends, and building out a secret base on 40 acres deep in the Arizona desert (no, really).
